Mark Brown, CEO
Mr. Brown, 47, has a twenty two history of starting, managing and selliing businesses. He is considered an authority in the areas of legislative relations, corporate communications and community relations. His career spans a diverse range of positions, including having served as a legislative assistant to former US Senator Chic Hecht, Executive Vice President of Corporate & Government Relations for The Howard Hughes Corporation, Executive Vice President of Government Relations and Corporate Communications for Station Casinos (fourth largest gaming company in the US) and President of R&R Partners (one of the largest marketing communications firms in the western U.S.). Mr. Brown also has significant entrepreneurial experience, having founded two advertising agencies by the age of 33
and more recently having served as the President of YourBuyer Worldwide, a global purchasing company.
Vincent Zaldivar, President
Vincent is an entrepreneur who has founded, funded and sold a number of business ventures over the past ten years. Sensing a need among the new generation of poker players for increased excitement, Zaldivar worked with game inventor, Tony Patelidas, to bring to market the fastest and most strategic poker games in the casino. Under Zaldivar’s guidance, Zen has begun to amass an inventory of patented games and technologies aimed at revolutionizing the way poker is played for new players as well as those who grew up on “old poker.
Michael Clebnik, COO
Michael was CEO of PowerPlay Develpment the original owners and developers of NLOP. He was also CEO of American Fantasy Sports an ASP provider of private branded online sports contests, and previously to that was CEO of mall operator BuyItOnline.com, successfully selling that to Surefire Commerce a Canadian public
Kevin Vonasek, CTO
Overseeing technical operations for the Zen Entertainment Network, Kevin brings 13 years of experience delivering high volume enterprise-level ecommerce and interactive entertainment software. As the key inventor and architect from its inception, Kevin manages the design and development of CUPIDTM, Zen's proprietary advergaming platform. Prior to the acquisition of NLOP.com and joining the Zen team, Kevin has developed numerous white label ecommerce solutions for major brands and portals including AOL.ca, CIBC Bank, RollingStones.com, Aerosmith.com , Phish.com and BuyItOnline.com. In addition Kevin has operated online fantasy sports and interactive gaming promotions for numerous clients including Lycos, Miller Brewing Co, Canadian Club Whiskey, Victory Lane Player's Club (Dale Earnhardt Jr & Tony Stewart), and media properties such as Knight Ridder, Tribune Co, and The McClatchy Group. Kevin also managed the development of OnlineMerchantTM, the world's first off-the-shelf retail e-store tool winning a 4-star award from ComptuerWorld in 1998.
Ofir Ventura, VP of Game Development
Ofir is a licensed attorney in Nevada and practiced law for 2 years before becoming a commercial real estate agent/developer. Ventura’s true passion is gaming and in 2000, he started inventing table games and licensed his very first game to Shufflemaster, Inc. in 2001. Ofir was also a table games consultant for Shufflemaster from early 2005 – early 2008. Today, Ofir has approximately 75 patentable game inventions to his name and he will be guiding Zen in the development of a variety of games.
Roy Evans, CFO
After graduating with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in Finance, Roy spend five years managing a restaurant supply company. He then spent fifteen years as a software Sales Executives with Fortune 500 Companies ADP and Fair Isaac. There Roy earned numerous President's Clubs and took on increasing responsibilities. He also worked with companies suchas Barnesandnoble.com, Sony, Travelocity and Circuit City helping them to reduce eCommerce fraud. Immediately prior to co-founding NLOP, Roy was an executive with a Software company catering to Marketing professionals.
